Palante, first the newspaper of the Young Lords Party, became the newspaper of the Boricua Revolutionary Workers Organization beginning in 1972. The newspaper was bi-lingual. Some of these issues were scanned beginning with the Spanish language side, others beginning with the English language side. In late 1976, after the Puerto Rican Revolutionary Workers Organization changed its name to the Revolutionary Wing, Palante changed its name to Bolshevik.
